Jesus did not abandon God's best intentions for human sexuality but brought forgiveness and grace, especially to those who were the most sexually powerless. In John's Gospel, we see Jesus respond practically and lovingly to two women. He did not join those condemning the adulterous woman to death by stoning (see John 8:3-11). Instead, he forgave her, instructing her not to sin again. To the woman at the well, married five times and living with a man, Jesus offered "living water" to wash her clean (see John 4:7-26). Without condoning her sexual history, Jesus graciously offered forgiveness and new life.
What many term as "sexual freedom" comes at a very high price;those who pursue it can reap consequences, such as sexually transmitted diseases, emotional wounds, guilt, broken relationships and more. But we can be free of a painful sexual history by asking Christ for forgiveness.
If past sexual sin still harrows your soul, accept the love and forgiveness he offers. If you feel guilty for a marital collapse, know that Jesus knows all about it and offers a clean slate. God created you as a beautifully sexual human being. Celebrate that fact....but honor him with it!

~Deuteronomy 22:22~
“If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.
~Matthew 5:27-28~
27 “You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’
28 But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
~1 Corinthians 6:19-20~
19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself,
20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
~1 Thessalonians 4:3-7~
3 God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.
4 Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—
4 Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—
5 not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.
6 Never harm or cheat a Christian brother in this matter by violating his wife, for the Lord avenges all such sins, as we have solemnly warned you before.
7 God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives.
~Hebrews 13:4~
Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
